Distinguished Alumnus Awards 2023 and Basant Samman 2024 were conferred in Penman Auditorium on the evening of the Basant celebration. A total of 11 awards were given under DAA and Basant Samman out of which 7 were Distinguished Alumnus Awards and 4 were of Basant Samman. The event was graced by Prof. JK Pattanayak, Director, Prof. Dheeraj Kumar, Dy. Director, Prof. R M Bhattacharjee, Dean IRAA, Prof. Rajeev Upadhyay, FIC AA, Mritunjay Sharma, AR IRAA and other important distinguished alumni like Prof. SP Banerjee, Prof. DC Panigrahi, etc. The Director presented the award to all the awardees, those not present were connected with a Zoom link. Prof. SP Banerjee was also felicitated at the event. Dean IRAA presented a presentation highlighting the Centenary celebration and the event ended with a vote of thanks.
