From this year onwards, IIT (ISM) Dhanbad started organising the 40-year reunion as well since we believe that just two reunions in a year are not enough to celebrate the excellent achievements of our alumni. Such reunions also give the students a chance to meet and engage with the alumni, enhancing the student’s experience and give them a competitive edge in today’s tough job market. Alumni come together and relieve the days, and if possible, they also try to fund the projects started by the college, which helps accelerate the growth of the institute. The visiting alumni can also play an active role in voluntary programs like mentoring students in their areas of expertise.
