Meet one of ISM's prominent alumnus, Dr. Sunil Barnwal, who graduated in 1993 with a Bachelor's degree in Petroleum Engineering, winning three gold medals in the institute, all the while moving on to ace one of the toughest examinations in the world.
The topper of UPSC (1996) from Jharkhand, Mr. Sunil Barnwal, can be distinctly classified among the people for whom "Winning is a Habit". Earlier, during his college days, he bagged a total of 3 Gold medals, including the one for the topper of the petroleum batch. He further got placed at GAIL (India) Limited, India through campus. It took him 3 years to become an IAS, only because of the minimum age requirement criteria. He also holds a Master's degree in Public Management (Jointly held by National University of Singapore and Harvard University, USA) and is currently Principal Secretary to Chief Minister at the Government of Jharkhand.
