Events

Indian Institute of Technology (ISM) Dhanbad, organises and hosts a wide range of events to celebrate and commemorate occasions and to serve student and alumni needs. Among all the events that are arranged, reunions are the most important and most celebrated events where alumni from past batches get together, meet and relive their old days. Convocation day, which marks the most significant benchmark of a student’s life, is an equally major event. Foundation day identifies the historic day on which the foundation stone of the institution was laid. Student Alumni Meet is a newly planned event catering to students’ need for interaction and guidance. ISMAA chapters all across the globe meet and engage in various activities by organising gathering events. Various delegations visit the IIT (ISM) campus and various other similar events are arranged and coordinated throughout the year.
