Prof. S P Banerjee Merit-cum-Means Scholarship corpus fund: Prof. S. P. Banerjee (Ex-Faculty) has sponsored scholarship programs for girl students of Mining Engineering with a corpus fund donation of Rs. 45, 00,000/- (Rupees Forty-Five Lakhs).
An MoU has been signed for establishing an Institute Chair Professor in the name of Mrs Kamala Devi and Prof Y K Agrawal in the Department of Applied Geology with the endowment fund of Rs. 51.5 lakhs from Dr Arun Agrawal, son of Late Prof Y K Agrawal
To reminisce over long-gone glorious days, “पुनर्मिलन”- the Mumbai Alumni Reunion of IIT(ISM) Dhanbad was organised on the 5th of November, 2022 at F C Kohli Auditorium, IIT Bombay. More than 170 alumni from various parts of the country witnessed the event. Dignitaries including Prof. Rajiv Shekhar, Director, IIT(ISM) Dhanbad, Prof. R. M Bhattacharjee, Dean (IRAA), Prof. Rajeev Upadhyay, AD (AA), Shri Gautam Khanna (Member of Executive Council, PAN IIT) gave updates about PAN IIT, Shri Ashok Kumar (1994 Batch ME, EC member PAN IIT, & Senior VP Marsh India Insurance Pvt. Ltd.), Niladri K. Mitra, Patron, Mumbai chapter and others were present on the occasion.
